About R.Design
Family owned R. Design has been helping clients bring their personal style to life for over two decades. Debbie Recht founded her design firm 25 years ago, and in the time since has established the business as one of the city's finest interior design firms. In 2020, her son Matheau Recht joined the firm as an interior designer.
Debbie Recht
Debbie has over the past 25 years carved out a respected name for herself as an interior designer known for cutting-edge and hip residential and business settings in Milwaukee, outside Wisconsin, and overseas. Her work has ranged from homes along Lake Michigan and smaller interior lakes to downtown condos and hotel lobbies to the offices of prominent attorneys. A graduate of Mount Mary College, Debbie launched a successful framing business and art gallery before turning her attention to the challenges and rewards of interior design as the proprietor and guiding light of Debbie Recht Design. She now looks forward with excitement to joining forces with Matheau to expand into new aspects of design.
Matheau Recht
Matheau joins R.Design after spending the last decade building Luxe Events, his full service event planning business awarded Best of MKE twice by Milwaukee Magazine. A graduate of the Arts Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, Matheau is known for his keen design eye and ability to inject creativity and joy into every project he takes on. He looks forward to bringing the magic he’s known for to R.Design and is delighted to be partnering with Debbie.
